Oporto (GER)

In their live concerts, Oporto open all the floodgates and in their almost feverish joy of playing create a sound which goes straight into your bloodstream like a hot potent brew. The songs of this five-strong band sound as if the Irish Folk Punk Pogues had for a change set themselves the task of throwing all close and not so close musical relatives of Blues into a cauldron and using a lot of fire and ingenuity to brew a new and at the same time traditional musical style from this mix.
