Divanhana (BIH)

Divahana is passionately dedicated to sevdah, the distant relative of Portuguese fado, which is often referred to as Balkan blues. The group from Sarajevo grabs the old urban love songs by their Sephardic, Balkan and Turkish roots and sensitively breathes new life into them with a little jazz, modern classical music and pop. At the concert, you can expect melancholy ballads performed with great passion and energetic dance numbers.
