The eight musicians in this group named themselves after a French April Fool’s prank: making colourful paper aeroplanes and secretly sticking them to other people’s backs. The light wit of this band’s name is characteristic of the optimism of Rupa Marya, singer, guitarist, songwriter, medical doctor, mother and activist, who merges Chanson and Klezmer, Milonga and Indian music, Punk, Folk and Reggae like a dream herb-wife.
