Eivør (FRO)

Eivør is probably the best known and most successful musician from the Faroe Islands. The 33-year-old singer, guitarist, composer and lyrics writer has made music for 20 years now, and she has experimented with folk, rock, jazz, country folk, classical music and triphop-style rock, and has now arrived at a style she calls “folktronica” – a special, but really brilliant sound.
