Amparo Sánchez is one of the best-known voices of Spain and is seen as a stalwart of the Mestizo scene. With her band Amparanoia, the singer has contributed significantly to the popularity of Mestizo music. Since 2008 she has been equally successful appearing under her own name. For this year’s Bardentreffen, the Queen of Mestizo will bring the songs of her new album “Espíritu del Sol”, a wonderful mix of Bolero, Rumba, Son, Reggae and Tex-Mex.
